Pentagoat stated in 2005 as a light night collaboration between Randy Copeland (Uncalledfor), Jason Carlson (Season of decay) and Jon Clark (Season of Decay)after the disbandment of Uncalledfor and Season of Decay the trio decided to make Pentagoat a full time band and on 06-06-06 Pentagoat was birthed. After a few years of ups and downs Pentagoat decided to take their music to the studio and record their full length album. In early 2009 Jon Clark had to step down as lead guitarist and Pentagoat had to postpone the recording of their album. Eager to get the project on it’s feet and not let down their fans, Pentagoat recruited William George (Divine Malefaction) to compose the keyboard orchestrations. Pentagoat then began preparation for a 6 song EP with Jeff Forrest at Doubletime Studios. After completion of their self-titled EP, plans for a full length album was the logical next step.
The trio plans to enter the studio once again mid year 2010 to record a full length album of extreme blasphemy.
