There is no more legendary death metal band than Tampa-via-Buffalo goremongers Cannibal Corpse, who are fronted by none other than George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. But the band’s first four studio releases were with vocalist Chris Barnes, the death metal vocal pioneer who now fronts stoner horror metal act Six Feet Under. And apparently, Barnes isn’t happy about the state of death metal in 2022, taking to Twitter to vent his loathing for “what this genre has become.”
