The Magnolia

The Magnolia is a renovated theater in the heart of downtown El Cajon at 210 E. Main St., formerly the East County Performing Arts Center. After sitting dormant for years, it reopened under Live Nation in fall 2019 with new sound, lighting and projection systems.

Live Nation lists 1,194 theater seats, giving East County its own seated, mid-size room for touring rock, comedy and more without the drive into the city. The outdoor plaza opens 30 minutes before doors for pre-show food and drinks.
