Death Reapers Premieres "The New Beginning" at Metal Sucks Today https://youtu.be/XsccZhA2tN0 Formed in 2019 in Przytoczna, a small town in Poland by instrumentalists Hubert Potomski, Kamil Winter, Filip Kudliński and Szymon Śmigiel, DEATH REAPERS spent a year creating music and performing live without a vocalist. Hubert's cousin Konrad joined the band as the vocalist and lyric writer in 2020, just prior to the Covid Pandemic. During the lockdown, DEATH REAPERS recorded and released their first single "Fire & Glass." In early 2021 DEATH REAPERS followed up with their first EP Sightless. The drummer, Szymon, left the band. DEATH REAPERS continued on, releasing another single "Death Reapers" before finding their newest member, drummer Mateusz Ratajczak in early 2022. With the current lineup, DEATH REAPERS recorded a live session and played their first concert. DEATH REAPERS then began the process of creating and recording the The New Beginning EP. The busiest recording period was the summer, which ultimately ended with a concert at a local festival in front of a large audience, and on the same day, the recording of their first music video. Hubert and Mateusz are 18 years old, Filip and Kamil are 19 and Konrad is 20. The future is bright for these young metalheads! Produced, recorded, and mixed by Jaime Gomez Arellano ( Ghost, Paradise Lost, Moonspell, Behemoth, Cathedral, Solstafir ) at his Orgone studios in Woburn ( England ), The Mowing Devil is the fifth album by Nemesis Inferi and marks a clear return to metal sounds after the more rock turn of the previous A Bad Mess. A powerful and modern sound that highlights the new lineup with the new additions of Caruso and Di Rosa, drums, and vocals respectively. Nemesis Inferi is an Italian modern Heavy Metal band from Bergamo, Lombardia. Formed in 1997, The band comprises vocalist Alessandro Di Rosa, guitarists G.M. Gain and Fabio Bergamelli, bassist Daniel Battaglia and drummer Matteo Caruso. After a couple of “promos”, pt1 and pt2 (1997-1999) the band's debut album “Sins of Eden was their first official release in July 1999. In 2003 the Band released “somewhere in darkness” And a Demo called “Reborn of Fire” in 2007 . The band released “Another Kind of Evil” in June 2009, Its sixth studio work, and its remastered version in 2010. 2015 is a good year for the band, and through some changings in the team, the band Releases “Natural Selection” a violent album that contains singles such as “Sneak Eye”. The big step happens in 2018, producing an Album with Jaime Gomez Arellano ( Behemot, ghost, paradise lost, Ulver, mayhem, and more) entitled “A Bad Mess”. Containing singles such as “Hate My Name” and “Anything Anymore”. In 2021 the Band comes back to Orgone studios in Woburn, Uk, to record “ The Mowing Devil” their last studio effort, always produced by the talented Arellano. It will be a nest for some very good singles such as “Eternal Static” or “Numbing Existence”. It is embodied by a particular moment of the story we're trying to re-tell that touched the hearts of a lot of fans, including ours! We like the dichotomy between the place the heroes have reached that is beautiful and safe, and the mind of the heroine they will enter, full of nightmares, to be able to finally cure her from her trauma !" Hartlight was born in the minds of Noémie Allet and Adrien Djouadou. They both met in the context of music and fell in love with each other. They both share a passion for music, anime, mangas, video games, and games in general. Noémie wanted to write and compose songs and Adrien proposed to do the arrangements and the instruments. Together, they recorded the songs « Victorious Heart » and « Hartlight » while they were still searching for their style. After reading Berserk together, Noémie had the idea to create a full EP about this incredible story. The mix and master are done by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studio (known for their work with Aborted, Benighted, Electric Callboy, etc.) If you are a fan of fast modern Death Metal with groovy and dark touches then this is the album you’re looking for! Carrion is a Death Metal band founded by Mathieu Vander Vennet, Sven Van Severen, and Jan Van den Berghe in Hansbeke (Belgium) in 2008. Back then we were still teenagers playing some covers while slowly creating our own music and sound. We released our first album “Revelations” in 2012, the album is a nice mix of all kinds of subgenres (death, thrash, core, groove, etc.). After “Revelations” the band started taking things more seriously and became a full-blown Death Metal band. The second album “Time To Suffer” was released on the Danish label Mighty Music in 2018. Decibel Magazine is hosting an exclusive video premiere for “The Elusive One,” by New Jersey instrumental progressive/technical metal duo GEMATRIA.The song is found on the band’s debut LP, Gematria II: The Spindle Of Necessity, which was released at the end of September through Nefarious Industries. GEMATRIA is the progressive/instrumental metal duo formed by Ray Suhy (Six Feet Under, Ray Suhy/Lewis Porter Quartet, ex-Cannabis Corpse, ex-East Of The Wall) and Steve Honoshowsky (Daughter Vision, Billy Martin’s Fang Percussion, No Use For Humans). Formed in 2017 out of a mutual respect for each other’s playing, a myriad of shared musical influences and a love for esoteric studies and explorations, they released their five-song eponymous debut EP in 2018. The songs on GEMATRIA’s proper full-length, Gematria II: The Spindle Of Necessity, were composed using elements of gematria, a qabalistic numerological system of relating words to numbers, the I Ching, sacred geometry and the writings of Aleister Crowley and Austin Osman Spare to help generate rhythmic and melodic ideas. The album presents a combination of intricate King Crimson-esque parts mixed with ambient soundscapes, blistering improvisations, and powerful drumming. The album was recorded by the band throughout 2020/2021 with the drums recorded by Adam Vaccarelli at Retromedia Sound Studios who mixed the album, and mastering was handled by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. The album features a guest electric flute solo on “Spindle Of Necessity” by Melissa Keeling, and a vocal choir on “Unconquered Sun” performed by Emily Grove, recorded by Steve Greenwell. The artwork was created by Steve Honoshowsky and the layout/design handled by Greg Meisenberg. The new video for “The Elusive One” was created by GEMATRIA and Goldeman. The band wrote the song through a game of sorts, where each member challenged the other on the next phase of the song’s creation. Steve Honoshowsky reveals, "The devil is in the details, and the details are in the decimals… of the bpm. The catalyst for this ‘game piece’ was the interaction between the rhythms of the Casio PT 1 and the Realistic Concertmate 200 toy keyboards. The arrangement was constructed on the fretless bass before the rules of the game piece were delivered to Ray.” The entire rules of the game are listed with the video’s premiere at Decibel, their accompanying piece describing how the song, “has the feel of an Adrian Belew-era King Crimson tune, with a tribal, tom-heavy rhythm; some bleep-bloop electronics providing a metronome; and Suhy’s sustain-heavy, Belew-like phrasing and runs. Hartlight was born in the minds of Noémie Allet and Adrien Djouadou. They both met in the context of music and fell in love with each other. They both share a passion for music, anime, mangas, video games, and games in general. Noémie wanted to write and compose songs and Adrien proposed to do the arrangements and the instruments. Together, they recorded the songs « Victorious Heart » and « Hartlight » while they were still searching for their style. After reading Berserk together, Noémie had the idea to create a full EP about this incredible story. This context made the duo go into a more Power Metal style with symphonic elements to translate the epicness and emotions of the story. The EP would be called « From Midland and Beyond » and had a first intimate release on the Bandcamp of the band. After a while, the label WormWholeDeath spotted it on the internet and signed a first deal with the band. Now, Hartlight is writing an album about their favorite stories because they want to recall and share tales and works they love. The band wants to make people dream and take them on those journeys that gave them courage and support. They plan to play live in the near future. They will be gathering members to complete the team and play their songs on stage after the first album will be fully written. In more recent years, he has been making his mark as a singer-songwriter with sold out solo performances as well as fronting former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick’s band and his own Canadian supergroup, Toque. Guitarist Stef Burns has a fantastic and varied history in rock music. He has spent time playing with pop acts like Sheila E., Berlin, and Huey Lewis & The News as well as rock acts like Y&T, whom he recorded four albums with, and Alice Cooper, playing on the albums 'Hey Stoopid' and 'The Last Temptation'. Stef currently plays with Italian rock superstar Vasco Rossi and also has his own band, The Stef Burns League. Drummer Will Hunt currently resides in the drum throne for Evanescence, whom he first started playing with in 2007, and has performed and written on their last three studio albums, including their most recent release, 'The Bitter Truth', which debuted at #1 on 27 different countries' album charts. Over the years, the in-demand skinsman has performed with Dark New Day, Skrape, Staind, Vasco Rossi, Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, Slaughter, and more. He has also appeared on albums by Black Label Society, Michael Sweet (Stryper), Crossfade, Dirty Shirley (George Lynch), Device (David Draiman of Disturbed), and more.
