Depressive black metal visionaries GHOST BATH have emerged from the abyss once more, unveiling their upcoming album, Rose Thorn Necklace, set for release on May 9th via Nuclear Blast Records. Marking a departure from their Moonlover-Starmourner-Self Loather conceptual trilogy, sole mastermind Nameless (Dennis Mikula) crafts his most intense and introspective work yet, blending blackened aggression with melancholic soundscapes that push his project into uncharted territory.

A Glimpse into Rose Thorn Necklace
The first glimpse of the album comes in the form of its self-titled single, “Rose Thorn Necklace.” Directed by blo0m, the accompanying music video paints a harrowing yet hypnotic visual representation of the album’s themes.
GHOST BATH comments:
“‘Rose Thorn Necklace’ is both beautiful and grotesque. It blurs the lines between fantasy and reality, exploring the contrast of something gorgeous and disgusting. I tried my best to not hold myself back – both musically and lyrically – and this is the result; depressive black metal with raw emotion, unique melodies, and textured synths.”
