Shock Rock legends GWAR are set to continue their “The Age of Entitlement Tour” with two additional headline stints in 2024, promoting their latest release, “New Dark Ages.”
This summer, GWAR is bringing a motley crew of support acts that promise to intensify their shows. Joining them will be the intoxicatingly heavy WEEDEATER and the provocatively audacious X-COPS. Kicking off the weirdness, openers SQUID PISSER are poised to bewilder the remaining crowd members. The tour begins on June 7th in Hartford, Connecticut, and concludes on June 17th in Tampa, Florida.
Come September, the rampage resumes as GWAR sets out to pulverize more human adversaries. This leg features the fiercely potent Latin American death grinders Brujeria, New Orleans’ own grindcore devastators BRAT, and the uniquely hardcore punk/metal hybrid, Cancer Christ. This chapter starts on September 12th in Buffalo, New York, and mercifully wraps up on September 20th in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
GWAR’s vocalist, Blothar the Berserker, shared his excitement about the tour:
“This is an incredible time in the history of the world, filled with death and destruction amidst overwhelming entitlement and arrogance. We’re eager to jolt humanity with what might just be the most audacious display of heavy metal theater ever unleashed by the gods.”
