Soulfly, Nailbomb and Incite Pack Soda Bar Monday, Oct. 12

The Soulfly Soda Bar show is four days out: Soulfly, Nailbomb and Incite take over the El Cajon Boulevard club on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026. It’s 21+, doors are at 6 p.m. per DICE, and it lands the night after Mastodon, Deafheaven and Alcest hit The Sound in Del Mar. If you’ve got a Monday left in you, this is the one.

Soulfly Soda Bar show details

  • Date: Monday, Oct. 12, 2026
  • Venue: Soda Bar, 3615 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, CA 92104
  • Doors: 6 p.m., per DICE
  • Ages: 21+ with valid ID
  • Presented by: Soda, per the DICE listing
  • Tickets: DICE, which lists $45.32 as “the price you’ll pay”
  • Set times: Not announced

The listings don’t all agree. Bandsintown shows 7 p.m., which may be the start time, but nobody has confirmed it. The Extra Chill calendar lists 6 p.m. for doors and show and posts a lower ticket price than DICE. For the Soulfly Soda Bar show, DICE is the actual ticket seller, so go by its listing, and get there at 6 so you don’t miss anybody.

DICE allows refunds within 24 hours of purchase or if the show is rescheduled or canceled, but not within 24 hours of the event start. Tickets live in the DICE app.

Soulfly bring the tribe to El Cajon Blvd.

Max Cavalera’s Soulfly in a room the size of Soda Bar doesn’t come around often. The DICE listing pitches the run like this:

From the mystical Sonoran Desert, Soulfly will soon return to the heated mosh pits of America with Nailbomb and Incite, destroying the everyday boundaries of a complacent society.

DICE event listing

The listing also says Soulfly are “uplifted by the indigenous roots of Chama and the power of fire,” and promises the songs “will soon unite the Soulfly Tribe!”

According to the listing, songs like “Favela / Dystopia,” “No Pain = No Power,” “Chama” and “Storm The Gates” are on the menu, “as well as the favorite classics.” No setlist has been posted, so that’s the whole preview.

This is a different show from the April 19 House of Blues date with GWAR and King Parrot that we previewed in January. For more Max, there’s our review of Cavalera’s “Morbid Visions”.

Nailbomb crawl out of the vault

Nailbomb is the rarer sighting. DICE describes them as “the crust punk industrial sludge band,” formed in 1993 “as the bastard son of Max Cavalera and Alex Newport,” and says they’ll be “crawling out from the vault to join the demolition onslaught.”

Who’s actually in the band on Monday is a separate question. The listing notes that “the lineup always changes,” and Nailbomb’s live lineup for this show hasn’t been announced. Don’t assume anything until they hit the stage.

Incite round out the bill

Incite is Richie Cavalera’s thrash and groove band. DICE says they formed in 2004 and calls their “Savage New Times” single “Just A Rat” a song that “penetrated the Metal world.” It adds that the band “raised their flag a bit higher with lineup changes” on the way to what DICE calls “the current powerhouse.” The listing’s summary of the whole lineup: “The OG Soulfly teamed with the best!” The running order hasn’t been posted.

Why the Soulfly Soda Bar night matters

San Diego’s small rooms are carrying more of the heavy load these days. After the Brick by Brick closing in August, “Brick by Brick presents” shows landed at Music Box and Soda Bar. A Soulfly Soda Bar bill with a rare Nailbomb set is exactly the kind of night that keeps those clubs worth showing up for.

It also caps a heavy stretch. Sunday is Mastodon at the Del Mar Fairgrounds; Monday is a 21+ club show on El Cajon Blvd. If you can only do one, the Soulfly Soda Bar night is the one you can’t easily repeat.

What we don’t know yet

  • Set times and running order
  • Whether the 7 p.m. time on Bandsintown is the start time
  • Who is in Nailbomb’s live lineup
  • Whether the run has a tour name (none is listed)
