Demon Hunter San Diego fans get a full-album night next Thursday: the Christian metalcore band plays 2007’s “Storm the Gates of Hell” front to back at House of Blues San Diego on Oct. 15, 2026, with Wolves at the Gate and Bloodlines. It’s all ages, with doors at 6:30 p.m. and the show at 7:30 p.m. per the Live Nation listing.
Demon Hunter San Diego show details
- Date: Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026
- Venue: House of Blues San Diego, 1055 Fifth Ave., downtown
- Doors / show: 6:30 p.m. / 7:30 p.m., per Live Nation (“All times and supporting acts are subject to change”)
- Ages: All ages, per Live Nation
- Lineup: Demon Hunter, Wolves at the Gate, Bloodlines
- Set times: Not announced
- Tickets: Live Nation / Ticketmaster
Tickets are on sale through Live Nation and Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster also lists a Fast Lane Access add-on for this show, and the listing spells out that it’s “Not A Concert Ticket,” so don’t buy it by mistake.
Under the venue’s all-ages policy, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or a responsible adult 25 or older with written authorization from a parent or guardian.
One conflict to know about: the San Diego Reader event listing shows “Age Limit: 18+” for the same show, while the venue’s Live Nation page says “All ages welcome.” The Reader does match the 7:30 p.m. start. If you’re bringing a younger fan, the venue’s listing is the one to go by. Check it before you head downtown.
A full album, a little early
According to ThePRP, which reported the tour on July 21, fans can expect a full performance of “Storm the Gates of Hell,” Demon Hunter’s fourth studio album, every night, “along with various fan favorites from Demon Hunter’s 2002-2005 catalog.” For longtime fans, that’s a deep pull from the band’s earliest records, and a Demon Hunter San Diego set built around one album start to finish is a different animal from a typical tour set.
About the anniversary angle: the run is billed as the “Storm the Gates of Hell” 20th Anniversary Tour, but the album came out in 2007, so it doesn’t turn 20 until 2027. ThePRP called it a “pre-emptive” anniversary tour. Call it what it is: the whole album, played early.

Wolves at the Gate and Bloodlines
ThePRP calls the openers Demon Hunter’s “brothers in faith.” Wolves at the Gate and Bloodlines are on every date of the run. On the label side, Bloodlines, from Brownsville, Texas, are on Facedown Records, and the label’s band page lists the San Diego date. Set times and running order haven’t been posted, so don’t plan on a late arrival.
Where Demon Hunter San Diego falls on the tour
Per ThePRP’s routing, the tour opened Oct. 7 at Mercury Ballroom in Louisville. San Diego sits between the Glass House in Pomona on Oct. 14 and Strummer’s in Fresno on Oct. 16, and the run wraps Oct. 29 at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville. ThePRP’s list has 21 dates, including one Canadian stop at the Rickshaw in Vancouver. San Diego is the second of four straight California nights (Pomona, San Diego, Fresno, Roseville) before the tour turns north to Spokane on Oct. 19. That makes Pomona the backup if Thursday doesn’t work, but the Demon Hunter San Diego stop is the only one in the county.

What we don’t know yet
- Set times and running order for the three bands
- Ticket prices (we couldn’t verify them)
- Why the San Diego Reader lists the show as 18+ when the venue says all ages
We’ll update this Demon Hunter San Diego preview if any of that changes before Thursday.
