Bleeding Through, Eighteen Visions Hit SOMA Sidestage Dec. 4

Bleeding Through San Diego fans get a December stacked with Southern California metalcore. Bleeding Through, Eighteen Visions, As Hope Dies and Darasuum play SOMA’s Sidestage on Friday, Dec. 4, per SOMA’s event page. It’s the middle night of a three-show SoCal run.

Bleeding Through San Diego show details

  • Date: Friday, Dec. 4, 2026
  • Venue: SOMA Sidestage, 3350 Sports Arena Blvd., San Diego
  • Lineup: Bleeding Through, Eighteen Visions (billed by SOMA as 18 Visions), As Hope Dies, Darasuum
  • Time: SOMA lists 6 p.m. The page doesn’t say whether that’s doors or the first band
  • Ages: All ages
  • Admission: General admission, standing room only
  • Tickets: Through SOMA’s event page. Prices weren’t shown on the page we checked

One aggregator lists a different door time than SOMA does, so go with the venue and check SOMA’s page or call the box office before you head to Sports Arena Boulevard. Set times haven’t been posted.

SOMA’s page also notes craft beer at the bar and a clear bag policy: clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, and small clutches up to about 4.5 by 6.5 inches. New to the room? Our SOMA venue spotlight has the history.

The SoCal run

The four bands announced three Southern California shows on Sept. 29, per Metal Anarchy:

  • Thursday, Dec. 3: Santa Ana, Constellation Room
  • Friday, Dec. 4: San Diego, SOMA
  • Saturday, Dec. 5: Pomona, The Glasshouse

That puts the Bleeding Through San Diego date between Orange County and the Inland Empire. If you can’t do Friday, Santa Ana and Pomona are each a drive away.

Where Bleeding Through are at

The band’s latest album is Nine, their ninth full-length, which came out Feb. 14, 2025, on SharpTone Records. Blabbermouth called them “Southern California metalcore pioneers” when the album was announced, and it was their first record since 2018’s Love Will Kill All. Their sound sits where hardcore, thrash and cinematic black metal meet, per that announcement.

Nine carried the singles “Our Brand Is Chaos,” “Dead But So Alive” and “Path Of Our Disease,” and it has guest spots from Doc Coyle of God Forbid, Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid and Brian Fair of Shadows Fall.

There has been one lineup change since. Per Wikipedia, which cites Metal Injection, Nine was the last album with longtime bassist Ryan Wombacher. He stepped away from live shows in September 2024 because of back injuries and announced his permanent departure in February 2025, on good terms with the band. The album was also the first with guitarists John Arnold and Brandon Richter. None of the sources we checked lists who plays bass on the Bleeding Through San Diego date.

There’s so much passion and aggression on this album. If you’re a fan of us, you won’t be let down. This is everything we’ve been working towards. This is the culmination of 25 years.

Nothing in the announcement says whether the Bleeding Through San Diego set leans on Nine or the older catalog, and no setlist has been posted.

Save the date

The show is on the SDMETAL events calendar too. Four bands on a Friday at the Sidestage, all ages, is about as easy as December metal gets. Lock in the Bleeding Through San Diego night now and confirm the time with SOMA as it gets closer.
