A Killer’s Confession Release “Meat Hook” Video, Bring Victim 3 Tour to SoCal

A Killer’s Confession, the alternative metal band fronted by former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis, have released an official music video for their new single “Meat Hook.” The song is on Victim 3, the band’s sixth studio album, which is due Nov. 13 through MNRK Heavy, according to NextMosh. The band’s Everything Comes Full Circle Tour also reaches Southern California this month, with stops in West Hollywood, Anaheim and Murrieta.

A Killer’s Confession “Meat Hook” Video

The A Killer’s Confession video was posted to the band’s official YouTube channel on Oct. 29. The on-screen credits list Richard Thomas as director, with Dustin Boles and Waylon Reavis as assistant directors. It was shot at Factory Of Terror and edited by Dustin Boles. Watch it below or on YouTube.

Reavis said of the song: “‘Meat Hook’ is possibly my favorite song on the album. It is a confrontational anthem. It is finding acceptance on who you truly are good or bad and living up to it. Know thy self only then will you be truly free.”

According to the video’s credits, the song was written by Waylon Reavis and Dustin Boles, produced by Dustin Boles and Evan McKeever, and mixed and mastered by Dusty Boles and Frank Smith. “Meat Hook” follows the earlier single “Roses” and the band’s cover of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.” MNRK Heavy has a streaming link for the single.

What Victim 3 Is About

Victim 3 concludes the A Killer’s Confession conceptual trilogy that began with Victim 1 and continued with Victim 2. NextMosh says the story follows a vigilante serial killer whose pursuit of justice leads to violence and self-destruction, ending with the character awaiting execution on death row.

The album was recorded in Nashville and Denver. Reavis made it with Evan McKeever and Dusty Boles.
