Slay Squad, from San Bernardino, support on every date. Doors are at 7 p.m. The show is all ages, general admission and standing room only, according to the SOMA event page, which bills the night as “Ho99o9 & N8NOFACE – Sincerely___ The Void.”

New Single: “War Bait” Featuring Slay Squad
The tour comes a day after Ho99o9 (pronounced “Horror”) released “War Bait,” a collaboration with Slay Squad, with a video. Last Gang Records announced the single on Oct. 21 and calls it a “heavy, trap-driven track.” ThePRP describes Ho99o9 as a “trap metal outfit” and Slay Squad as a self-proclaimed “ghetto metal” band. NextMosh says the song pairs Ho99o9’s “blend of punk, metal and hip-hop with trap-influenced production.” Knotfest’s write-up says the single is out via DeathKult 999.
ReGen Magazine says “War Bait” is Ho99o9’s second single since their 2025 album Tomorrow We Escape, following June’s “Power in Numbers.” ReGen says the track deals with anxiety and apathy around war and the fear of nuclear annihilation, with a chorus built on the line “If it’s war, then it’s war.”
Crossover Night at SOMA
Knotfest says the single follows Ho99o9’s U.K. and European tour earlier this summer. Per Knotfest, Tomorrow We Escape featured guests including Nova Twins, Chelsea Wolfe, Greg Puciato, MoRuf and Pink Siifu. ReGen adds that Ho99o9 also appear on Jesse Draxler’s Tongue of Angels album, released July 31 via Federal Prisoner. That’s the run-up to tonight’s Ho99o9 San Diego kickoff.
The Ho99o9 San Diego date is the kind of bill that pulls from metal, punk and hip-hop crowds at once. NextMosh notes the duo formed in New Jersey before moving to Los Angeles, released their debut album, United States of Horror, in 2017, and have shared stages with Slipknot, Korn, Rob Zombie, Ministry and The Dillinger Escape Plan. They’ve collaborated with Corey Taylor, The Prodigy, JPEGMAFIA, Ghostemane, HEALTH and N8NOFACE himself.
N8NOFACE, the co-headliner, is billed by Last Gang as a synth-punk artist. Slay Squad open the whole run.
How Many Dates?
The sources don’t agree. Last Gang’s release calls it a “20-date U.S. tour,” but the list it publishes has 30 dates, including Toronto and Montreal. Knotfest also says 30 dates. After the Ho99o9 San Diego opener, the next Southern California stop is Friday, Oct. 23 at Garden Grove Amp. The tour then heads up the coast to Berkeley’s 924 Gilman on Oct. 24 and ends Nov. 29 at Rebel Lounge in Phoenix, with a Nov. 28 stop at 191 Toole in Tucson before that.
One date is listed two ways. ThePRP lists the Nov. 13 New York show as “TBA,” while Last Gang and NextMosh list it at St. Vitus.
