Dragón Rojo Rock Bar (Tijuana)
Dragón Rojo Rock Bar is Tijuana’s metal bar: a small rock venue on Calle Primera in Zona Centro, near the Arch and the top of Avenida Revolución, that turned 12 in October 2026. Touring death, thrash and black metal bands stop here between Los Angeles and the rest of Mexico, and recent years have brought Dying Fetus, Hirax, Horna, Mortiis, Atheist, Enforcer and Cult of Fire.
Expect a dark, standing-room space with the stage up front, the bar off to one side and a pit when the band is fast. Tickets usually run through Arema or Primera Fila in pesos, with early presale tiers and a higher door price, so buy international shows ahead. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the San Ysidro pedestrian crossing, and you’ll need your passport to get back.
