Music Box
Music Box is a three-level, 700-plus capacity concert club in Little Italy that books across genres, and heavy music shows up there regularly. The stage has hosted guitar-shredding oddball Buckethead, stoner and heavy psych favorites Elder, and the all-female Iron Maiden tribute The Iron Maidens.
The building has a long music history (it was Anthology from 2006 to 2012), and today it’s one of the bigger club rooms downtown, spread across three levels. Age limits vary by show, so check each event, and there’s free street parking after 6 p.m. plus seven lots within a block.
