Papa Roach Rise of the Roach dates are back for 2027, but San Diego isn’t on the list. Papa Roach announced a 30-date U.S. leg of the “Rise Of The Roach Tour” on Oct. 19, running May 11 to June 27, 2027, with Ice Nine Kills and Ninth Key as special guests, according to Blabbermouth. The closest Southern California stop is Ontario on June 18. Tickets start going out Tuesday.
No San Diego Date on the Papa Roach Rise of the Roach Tour
The route goes from Biloxi, Mississippi, up the East Coast, through the Midwest and Texas, then west. Out here the tour hits Albuquerque, Phoenix, Ontario, Las Vegas, Morrison, Colo., West Valley City, Utah, and Sacramento before wrapping in Washington. San Diego and Los Angeles proper aren’t on it. For local fans, these are the nearest stops:
| Date | City | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| Wed., June 16, 2027 | Phoenix, Ariz. | Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre |
| Fri., June 18, 2027 | Ontario, Calif. | Toyota Arena |
| Sat., June 19, 2027 | Las Vegas, Nev. | PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino |
On the Papa Roach Rise of the Roach map, Ontario is the obvious pick for most San Diego fans, since it’s the only California date south of Sacramento. The announcement calls this the 2027 U.S. leg of the band’s “global infestation,” following a 34-stop run under the same Rise Of The Roach name in 2025.

What the Bands Said
Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix said in the announcement: “We can’t wait to get out there and infest America again. Bringing our horrifyingly entertaining friends ICE NINE KILLS is overdue, and we’re excited to introduce our fans to NINTH KEY, a band we’re big fans of. These shows are going to be unforgettable.”
Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas pointed to Shaddix’s appearance in one of his band’s videos: “Jacoby’s cameo in the ‘Hip To Be Scared’ video is already legendary among our beloved Psychos, and it’s an absolute honor to get invited to tour with PAPA ROACH. We can’t wait to put our blood-soaked stamp on the stage before P ROACH blazes through their monster catalog of hits. It’s going to be several nights to dismember!”
