Rush Sphere dates are locked for May 2027. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will play five nights at Sphere in Las Vegas — May 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30 — with German drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold. Full details and ticket links are on the band’s rush.com/sphere page.
Rush Sphere Residency: 2112 and Moving Pictures
Coverage of the announcement, including Blabbermouth, Loudwire, Audacy and Louder, has widely reported the residency under the name Elevate From The Norm, a nod to the Vital Signs lyric. That title string does not appear on the rush.com/sphere FAQ page reviewed for this story.
Lee framed the set around two classic albums. “Meaning playing all of ‘2112’ and all of ‘Moving Pictures’ along with an array of other songs,” he said in the announcement carried by Blabbermouth. The shows also celebrate Rush’s catalog and the life of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
Lee said the venue sounds “tailor made” for Rush’s visual approach. “Normally we spend months designing the visual effects for our shows and this scenario seemed like the cherry on top of the ice cream for our design team,” he said. The band is working to expand its touring concepts and “concoct some new madness to suit this incredible venue,” he added.

Fifty Something Tour Context
The Rush Sphere residency sits inside the Fifty Something tour era, which launched June 7 in Los Angeles. Blabbermouth reports the tour has sold over one million tickets across Canada, the United States, Mexico, South America and Europe, and calls it Rush’s first tour in over 10 years and the first run of shows since Peart’s death in 2020. Lee and Lifeson use the same Nilles and Gold lineup on Fifty Something and at Sphere.
Blabbermouth also notes Sphere’s wraparound high-resolution LED display and Sphere Immersive Sound system as part of the venue pitch for these nights.

No San Diego Date on the Rush Sphere Run
There is no San Diego show on this announcement. Las Vegas is the closest new stop for San Diego fans, much like the eight-show Caesars Palace run covered in our Motley Crue Las Vegas residency story and the Las Vegas dates in our Scorpions 2027 tour story. SDMETAL will update this Rush Sphere story if more West Coast or Southern California dates appear.
