Slayer Announces Hollywood Reign In Blood Anniversary Pop-Up

Slayer Announces Hollywood Reign In Blood Anniversary Pop-Up

Slayer are taking their Reign In Blood anniversary beyond the stage. The band has announced a Hollywood pop-up shop for November 12–14, timed around its two Kia Forum shows celebrating the album’s 40th anniversary.

The three-day shop will be at 6250 Hollywood Boulevard, near the W Hotel and Amoeba Music. Produced with Global Merchandising Services, it will carry the official anniversary merchandise collection alongside designs and items exclusive to the pop-up, according to the announcement reported by Blabbermouth.

Reign In Blood collectibles head to Hollywood

Among the announced offerings is a portion of the band’s personal stash of Reign In Blood liquid zoetrope vinyl, bundled with a commemorative triptych and coin. Customers will also receive a QR code to enter a giveaway for a signed Slayer setlist or merchandise pack.

The shop opens a day before the first Forum performance and runs through the second. For San Diego fans heading north, that puts the merchandise stop in Hollywood, separate from the concerts in Inglewood. The Slayer anniversary event listing covers the Forum dates, November 13 and 14. Both shows were described as sold out in the announcement.

Forty years of Reign In Blood

Released October 7, 1986, through Def Jam Recordings, Reign In Blood marked Slayer’s first collaboration with producer Rick Rubin. Four decades later, the anniversary celebration pairs those two Southern California performances with a three-day destination for collectors.
