Suicide Silence Drop ‘Reminders of Hell’ Ahead of Riverside Tour Opener

Suicide Silence released “Reminders of Hell” on Oct. 22, the third single from their eighth album, Graceless, which Century Media will release Nov. 20. The song shares its name with the band’s fall headlining run, the Reminders of Hell Tour, which opens Nov. 6 at Riverside Municipal Auditorium. There is no San Diego date on the routing, so the Riverside show and the Dec. 13 tour finale in Los Angeles are the closest stops.

Suicide Silence Go “Into the Depths” on the New Single

The single arrived with a drum playthrough video from Ernie Iniguez. In a statement reported by ThePRP, the band put the three singles in order: “‘Graceless’ is a crusher, ‘Make Your Exit’ is a bouncer, and now, it’s time to go into the depths for ‘Reminders Of Hell.’ This track is a little more multi-dimensional and is sure to get you banging your head.”

“Reminders of Hell” is track eight of 11 on Graceless. The full track list, as published by ThePRP in September, is “Graceless,” “Unenlightened,” “Make Your Exit,” “Rotting Inside,” “Cursed Since Birth,” “Incisions,” “Parasitic,” “Reminders Of Hell,” “NVRFXLD,” “Devoured Dreams” and “Sour.” ThePRP reported that Austin Coupe produced the album and Hunter Young mixed it.

What Century Media Says About Graceless

The title track came out in September with a music video. The band called it “a short n sweet crusher that gives you a taste of what this record is all about.” Century Media’s announcement frames the album as a return to how the band wrote at the start, “with bodies in a room, amps cranked.” Guitarist Chris Garza says in the label’s announcement that the goal was to “just get out of the way and serve that band logo.”

The label lists the lineup as Garza and Mark Heylmun on guitar, Eddie Hermida on vocals, Dan Kenny on bass and Iniguez on drums. That needs one note. Blabbermouth reported in January that Ian Waye of Soreption was filling in on guitar while Garza took a “hiatus.” The label’s lineup credit includes Garza, but neither source says who will play guitar on this tour.

Graceless follows Suicide Silence’s Remember… You Must Die, released in March 2023 through Century Media. The new album is due on CD, black vinyl and a run of limited-color LPs tied to specific retailers. Preorders are open through the band’s link page.

The Reminders of Hell Tour Opens in Riverside

Emmure, AngelMaker and Synestia are the support acts on the whole run. Live Nation’s listing puts the Riverside opener on Friday, Nov. 6, with a 6 p.m. start, at the auditorium at 3485 Mission Inn Ave. The listing doesn’t give set times. The band’s roots are close by: Century Media traces Suicide Silence’s “first rumblings” to California’s Inland Empire.

Getting to the Show

For San Diego fans, the choice is Riverside on a Friday night to start the tour, or Los Angeles for the last night on Dec. 13. Tickets for both are on sale now through the venues’ official sellers. Resale prices for Riverside have moved around in recent weeks, so check the face-value price on Ticketmaster before you buy elsewhere.
