Hatebreed Fatal Paradox arrives this Friday, Nov. 6, through BLKIIBLK Records. It is the band’s ninth full-length album and the first since 2020’s Weight of the False Self, according to the band’s official announcement. Longtime collaborator Chris “Zeuss” Harris produced it.
Hatebreed have also re-recorded their second EP, 1996’s Under The Knife, and vocalist Jamey Jasta says it may come out alongside a documentary.
Hatebreed Re-Record Under The Knife
Jasta confirmed the re-recording in a new interview with Kerrang!, as reported by ThePRP. ThePRP says talk of the sessions first surfaced online in February, when it was revealed that former Hatebreed guitarist Larry Dwyer Jr. also took part.
Jasta told Kerrang!: “We’ve actually re-recorded ‘Under The Knife’. We’ll probably figure out a release where maybe we include a documentary. I just went through storage rooms full of stuff and found a flyer for a show that was Fear, Murphy’s Law, Hatebreed, 25 Ta Life and One 4 One. Man, I would remember if we had opened for Fear!”
He added that guitarist Wayne Lozinak had to remind him: “‘No, Fear cancelled but we still played, it was at The Pipeline in New Jersey!’ There’s a lot of those stories and flyers where the memories are a blur and the players are gone. It would be nice to preserve some of it.”
No release date, format or title has been announced for the new Under The Knife or the documentary.
Hatebreed Fatal Paradox: What We Know

Hatebreed Fatal Paradox is the first album on the band’s new label home, BLKIIBLK. Zeuss also produced Weight of the False Self, according to the band’s site.
