As I Lay Dying The Cost To Stay is out now. The San Diego metalcore band released “The Cost To Stay” on Nov. 3 with an official music video directed by Tom Flynn. The song is from the band’s self-titled album, As I Lay Dying, due Feb. 5, 2027, on Napalm Records.
As I Lay Dying The Cost To Stay and the Self-Titled Album
“The Cost To Stay” follows “Polarized” and “Retribution,” the two singles the band released in September. All three songs are on the new record, which is the first self-titled album in the band’s history.
The band said in the announcement, as reported by Blabbermouth: “Making this the first self-titled As I Lay Dying album felt significant because the record feels like both a continuation and a reset. We weren’t trying to recreate one era of the band or force the songs into a narrow definition of what As I Lay Dying should sound like.”
