Ozzfest Returns in 2027 With Glen Helen, Milton Keynes and First Mexico City Date

Ozzfest returns in 2027 with three shows in the UK, the U.S. and, for the first time, Mexico. The announcement, sent out Nov. 5 by SRO PR, puts Southern California’s date at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2027. The press release calls it the place where Ozzfest launched in 1996. The first Ozzfest was actually two shows that October: Phoenix on Oct. 25 and Glen Helen on Oct. 26, according to Ozzy’s official archive.

Ozzfest 2027 Dates

  • July 10, 2027 – The National Bowl, Milton Keynes, UK
  • Sept. 11, 2027 – Glen Helen Amphitheater, San Bernardino, CA
  • Sept. 18, 2027 – Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City

Live Nation is promoting all three shows. Sharon Osbourne is curating the lineups, which will be “revealed in the coming months,” the announcement says. No bands have been officially named.

Early Bat tickets for all three dates went on sale Friday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. local time. The announcement didn’t include prices.

First Ozzfest Since Ozzy

The announcement says the 2027 run will be the first Ozzfest since Ozzy Osbourne’s death and his “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert in 2025. The last Ozzfest was New Year’s Eve 2018 at The Forum in Los Angeles, with Ozzy headlining.

“Ozzy was the first to launch his own traveling metal festival,” Sharon Osbourne said in the announcement. “And Ozzfest will always remain an important part of Ozzy’s legacy.”

The press release calls the UK Ozzfest’s “spiritual home” and highlights the festival’s track record with new bands, crediting it with helping launch System of a Down, Slipknot, Disturbed, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage and many others.

For San Diego metalheads, Glen Helen is the date to circle. Watch for lineup news over the next few months.
