Boston hardcore punk band Haywire will bring their 2027 North American tour to SOMA San Diego on Wednesday, March 10, with Gvllow and Dark Thoughts. The run supports I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye, the band’s first album for Roadrunner Records, released Oct. 2. The tour was announced Oct. 23, and tickets are on sale now.
Haywire at SOMA: Show Details
SOMA’s event page bills the show as “Dredd Presents” Haywire, Dark Thoughts and Gvllow. It lists the show as general admission, standing room only and all ages, with craft beer available. SOMA’s clear-bag policy applies. Ticket listings give doors at 7 p.m. and the show at 8 p.m.
Two details aren’t settled. SOMA’s own page lists the show on the Mainstage, but the Extra Chill events listing puts it on the Sidestage, so which room it’s in is unconfirmed. SOMA’s page doesn’t show a price. Extra Chill lists $47.80 to $79.55, but we haven’t confirmed that against the venue’s ticketing.
The next night, March 11, the Haywire tour plays the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye
According to Rough Trade’s product listing, Mat Kerekes of Citizen produced I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye and Taylor Young mixed it. Haywire’s new album follows 2024’s Conditioned for Demolition. Consequence called it the band’s sophomore album when it was announced in August with the single “Interstate Love Affair.”
Apple Music lists nine songs with a running time of 19 minutes. The guest list reaches across hardcore, punk and beyond. Streaming credits list features from Nothing, The Aggrolites, Death Threat, Eyes of the Lord and Cheyanne Snider.
