Polyphia released their new album, Be Not Afraid, on Oct. 23 through Rise Records. The record’s North American tour, now set for February and March 2027, stops at SOMA San Diego on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Polyphia’s Be Not Afraid Is Out
Apple Music confirms the Oct. 23, 2026 release: 12 songs, 46 minutes, “under exclusive license to Rise Records.” The album includes the singles “Can You Feel It” and “Power In The Blood.” On Rise’s UK store, the CD edition lists a Dec. 11 release date.
Caleb Young directed the “Power In The Blood” video. According to Metal Injection, the band play it inside the São Francisco da Penitência Church in Rio de Janeiro. “Instead of going wide on Be Not Afraid, we went as deep as we could,” guitarist Tim Henson said, adding that “thematically, it’s by far the most meaningful record we’ve ever made.”
Polyphia’s Tour Moves to 2027
The band pushed the North American dates back to February and March 2027, NextMosh reported in August. “In order to see that vision all the way through, our North American shows will now take place in February/March 2027,” the band said. Tickets already bought remain valid for the new dates. Ladrones and RJ Pasin support, with Intervals added in Toronto and Montreal.
Ladrones will not play San Diego. SOMA’s event page lists the show on the Mainstage at 6:30 p.m., with special guest RJ Pasin. It’s general admission, standing room only and all ages. SOMA’s page doesn’t show a ticket price.
The Southern California run:
- Feb. 9 – Los Angeles – Hollywood Palladium
- Feb. 10 – San Diego – SOMA (no Ladrones)
- Feb. 11 – Anaheim, Calif. – House of Blues
The tour opens Feb. 5 in Phoenix and ends March 20 in Dallas. Before that, Polyphia’s UK and European dates with Perturbator and RJ Pasin run Nov. 18 to Dec. 16, 2026.
