If you want Iron Maiden tickets for Chula Vista, today is the first chance. The Iron Maiden fan club presale for the band’s Thursday, April 22, 2027, show at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre opened at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, local time, and runs for 23 hours, closing at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. That’s the first of three separate ticket windows this week. Here’s how each one works.
How the Iron Maiden Fan Club Presale Works
According to the official IMFC presale notice, posted Oct. 16, members of the Iron Maiden Fan Club get early access to Ticketmaster, and “the Fan Club presale is always FIRST.” The details from that notice:
- Window: Monday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to Tuesday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m., times local to each show. For Chula Vista that means Pacific time.
- Codes: Each member claims an individual code on the fan club website. You have to log in to your IMFC account to get it. The notice says “it is not sent by email!”
- Limit: Up to 6 tickets per show.
- Late joiners: You can still join after the presale starts and get a code, but the notice warns that many tickets may already be gone.
- No guarantees: The fan club has an allocation of “plenty of seats and floor (where applicable),” but tickets aren’t guaranteed if demand is overwhelming.
- No refunds on membership: Once you claim a code, the IMFC won’t cancel your membership or refund it.
The Iron Maiden fan club presale notice also says the IMFC only provides access to Ticketmaster. It doesn’t sell the tickets itself. It also warns that some shows on the run have “incredibly small GA pits.” The notice doesn’t say which shows, and SDMETAL hasn’t confirmed whether the Chula Vista amphitheater show has a pit or how big it would be.
Three Ticket Windows, Three Different Dates
The Iron Maiden fan club presale is just the first window, and it’s easy to confuse the three, so here they are side by side:
| Sale | When | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Iron Maiden fan club (IMFC) presale | Mon., Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to Tue., Oct. 20, 9 a.m. local | ironmaiden.com |
| Separate presale shown on Live Nation’s event page | Starts Wed., Oct. 21, 10 a.m. PDT | livenation.com |
| General on-sale | Fri., Oct. 23 (see note below) | ironmaiden.com tour page |
The Live Nation event page shows “Presale Starts Oct 21 at 10 AM PDT.” It doesn’t say who that presale is for or what code it uses, and it is separate from the Iron Maiden fan club presale. Iron Maiden’s announcement only says “additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale.”
For the general on-sale, the band’s tour page lists Oct. 23, 2026, for the April 22 show, with a time of 6 p.m. The site appears to show U.K. time, since the same 6 p.m. appears for the West Coast dates and later times appear for shows further east. If so, 6 p.m. in London would be 10 a.m. Pacific. That conversion is SDMETAL’s, so check the Ticketmaster listing before Friday.
The Show Itself
Live Nation lists the Chula Vista date as Iron Maiden: Run For Your Lives North American Tour 2027, Thursday, April 22, 2027, at 6:30 p.m., at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre. As of Monday morning, the lineup on that page is still:
- Iron Maiden
- Bullet for My Valentine
- The Raven Age
Iron Maiden’s announcement calls it the first all-British three-band bill the band has chosen since 1983. It says Bullet for My Valentine’s new album, Social Apocalypse, is due March 19, 2027, and that The Raven Age recently opened for Maiden in South and Central America. The announcement says these will be Bullet for My Valentine’s first North American shows since their co-headline tour with Trivium “early last year.” Trivium’s own next SoCal stop is in our Crown in the Grave tour coverage.
The Iron Maiden fan club presale notice doesn’t list prices either. Ticket prices, set times, VIP package details and floor or pit layout for Chula Vista have not been published in any of the sources SDMETAL checked. We’re not going to guess.
Why This Leg Exists
Steve Harris says in the announcement that Maiden had planned to take a break in 2027, “but we’ve been enjoying this last leg in the USA and Canada so much that we all had a chat and decided we should take the show to parts we missed.” The band says these 16 dates will “DEFINITELY” be the last of the Run For Your Lives tour. Whether you get in through the Iron Maiden fan club presale or on Friday, it’s shaping up to be a big 2027 for stadium and amphitheater metal in San Diego, with Metallica at Snapdragon Stadium on May 13 just three weeks after Maiden.
