Motley Crue are heading back to the Strip. The band’s fourth Motley Crue Las Vegas residency, “Motley Crue At The Colosseum At Caesars Palace, Carnival Of Sins in Sin City,” is a limited run of eight shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from March 19 to April 3, 2027, according to the Caesars Entertainment announcement issued Oct. 19. Presales opened Tuesday, Oct. 20, and tickets go on sale to the public Friday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. PT. No Southern California dates were announced with it, so for San Diego fans this one is a road trip.

Tickets and Presales
All Motley Crue Las Vegas residency ticket times are Pacific. Presales are already rolling:
- S.I.N. Club presale: Opened Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. for members of the band’s fan club, which Caesars says is free to join.
- Citi presale: Opened Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. and runs until Thursday, Oct. 22 at 10 p.m., through the Citi Entertainment program. Citi is the official card of the residency.
- Caesars Rewards and Live Nation presale: Starts Thursday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m.
- Public on-sale: Friday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com/MotleyCrueVegas.
Ticket prices weren’t included in the announcement, and we haven’t seen them in any official source. Check Ticketmaster when your presale window opens. A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, which the announcement describes as a Las Vegas-based organization helping young people experiencing homelessness in Southern Nevada move into stable housing.
What the Show Is
According to Caesars, the Motley Crue Las Vegas residency brings “the hugely successful Carnival of Sins tour” to The Colosseum, “featuring stunning visuals and a fan-voted setlist of iconic hits – including songs returning to the stage for the first time in decades.” That’s the extent of the detail so far. The announcement doesn’t say which songs are in play, how fans vote, or whether voting is open yet, and no stage or production specifics have been released.
The Motley Crue Las Vegas residency announcement didn’t include any quotes from the band, and it doesn’t list members. The most recent reporting we found on the lineup, from the News-Herald in August during the band’s 2026 tour, lists Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and guitarist John 5. John 5 took over on guitar in fall 2022 when Mick Mars retired from touring. Nothing we’ve seen says the lineup will change for Vegas, but the residency announcement itself doesn’t confirm it.
The Fourth Motley Crue Las Vegas Residency
Caesars says the band “pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency over a decade ago” and lists three earlier sold-out runs: “Motley Crue Takes On Sin City” (2012), “Evening In Hell” (2013) and “The Las Vegas Residency” (2025).
One correction worth making, because it’s easy to mix up with all the Sphere talk lately: the 2025 run was not at Sphere. It was 10 shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM, running from early September to Oct. 3, 2025, according to the Los Angeles Times. Those shows were originally set for March and April 2025 and were postponed so Neil could undergo a medical procedure. The Times reported that the 2025 residency also benefited Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Here’s how the last two compare:
| 2025 | 2027 | |
|---|---|---|
| Venue | Dolby Live at Park MGM | The Colosseum at Caesars Palace |
| Shows | 10 | 8 |
| Charity partner | Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth | Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth |
The 2027 Motley Crue Las Vegas residency also lands during the band’s 45th anniversary. On Oct. 30, the band releases a 45th Anniversary Limited Edition Box Set of its 1981 debut Too Fast For Love via BMG, per the announcement, including the original Leathur Records version, the 1982 Elektra version and live recordings from the 1982 Perkins Palace shows. Blabbermouth carried the same details.
The San Diego Angle
The Motley Crue Las Vegas residency is the only 2027 date in the announcement, and no SoCal shows were announced with it. For San Diego fans that means a drive across the desert or a short flight, and a weekend date is the easy pick. Vegas is a busy rock stop on the 2026-27 calendar, from Metallica’s Sphere run (covered in our Metallica San Diego post) to Papa Roach’s June 19 stop at PH Live. If you’d rather stay closer to home in 2027, the other big SoCal road trip so far is System of a Down at the Rose Bowl. For more on where things stand, see our look at metal music in 2025.
We’ll update this post if ticket prices, setlist voting details or any other 2027 Motley Crue Las Vegas residency news comes out.
