Hellfest West 2027 is coming to The Fox Theater in Pomona on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 20-21, and the first lineup announcement is stacked with full-album anniversary sets. Between The Buried And Me lead the bill celebrating 25 years of the band, with Sleeping Giant, Life Of Agony, Winds Of Plague, Xibalba, First Blood and more than 20 other hardcore and metal acts confirmed. Presented by Trustkill and SOS Booking, the two-day festival is all ages, with doors at noon both days, and two-day passes are on sale now through TicketWeb.
For San Diego hardcore and metal fans, Pomona is a straightforward drive north, and the festival’s second year moves from Orange County to the Inland Empire with a deep bill.

The promoters haven’t announced which bands play which day, set times or single-day tickets. Pass prices aren’t listed on SOS Booking’s page. The festival’s official ticket link still carries “2026” in its address, but the event itself takes place in February 2027.

The Hellfest West 2027 Anniversary Sets
Five bands on the Hellfest West 2027 bill are built around milestones:
- Between The Buried And Me: The Raleigh, North Carolina progressive metal band formed in 2000 and is billed as celebrating 25 years of BTBAM rather than a single album.
- Life Of Agony: The Brooklyn band plays River Runs Red, its 1993 debut, in full.
- Winds Of Plague: The deathcore band from Upland, a short drive from Pomona, plays Decimate The Weak, its 2008 Century Media debut.
- First Blood: The San Francisco hardcore band plays Killafornia, its 2006 debut full-length, which was released on Trustkill Records, one of this festival’s presenters.
- American Me: The Portland, Oregon band plays Heat, its 2008 debut album.
Pomona’s own Xibalba are also on the bill, along with Sleeping Giant, the Christian metalcore band with roots in Redlands, California, and Salt Lake City.
From Santa Ana to Pomona: Hellfest West’s Second Year
Hellfest West debuted Feb. 20-21, 2026, at The Observatory in Santa Ana. SOS Booking’s event page lists that first edition’s weekend passes as sold out. The 2026 bill included The Path Of Resistance, Mindforce, Disembodied, Turmoil, Twitching Tongues, It Dies Today, Morning Again, Skycamefalling and No Innocent Victim. Years Spent Cold played that first edition and returns for Hellfest West 2027.
The festival name carries history. Trustkill started as a hardcore fanzine in April 1993 and began releasing records in 1994. Label president Josh Grabelle got the rights to the label back in 2022 and resumed operations, and Trustkill’s logo now tops the Hellfest West 2027 poster alongside SOS Booking and Takedown Events. Loudwire included the Pomona weekend in its roundup of tours and festivals announced Oct. 23-29.
A Hellfest West 2027 Road Trip From San Diego
The first announcement doesn’t list hometowns, and none of the 27 bands could be confirmed as San Diego acts as of Oct. 30. The bill still leans heavily on Southern California, with Xibalba from Pomona, Winds Of Plague from Upland and Sleeping Giant partly from Redlands.
