The Agriculture Casbah show in San Diego is now on Friday, Oct. 30, one day later than first announced. The Casbah lists the new date with Purest Form and Pure Hex opening, doors at 7 p.m., music at 8 p.m., 21 and up, and $20 tickets. The venue’s note reads: “New date – tickets will be honored or refunds issued.”
Agriculture, the Los Angeles black metal band, originally announced its fall U.S. tour with San Diego on Thursday, Oct. 29. The Casbah calendar and the SeeTickets event page now both show Oct. 30. Neither the venue nor the band has given a reason for the one-day move.
Agriculture Casbah Show: Date, Time and Tickets
If you already bought a ticket for Oct. 29, you don’t need to do anything to get in on Friday, since the Casbah says tickets will be honored. If Friday doesn’t work, the same note says refunds will be issued. The Casbah is at 2501 Kettner Blvd., and the venue says its shows are 21 and up with a valid ID.
The Casbah lists the ticket price at $20. SeeTickets shows general admission at $24.74 per ticket at checkout, with a limit of six per order.
The Flenser, Agriculture’s label, confirmed the new date on X on Oct. 28: “Agriculture’s US fall tour starts this week in San Diego,” listing “10/30/26 San Diego, CA The Casbah” as the first stop. That makes Friday’s Agriculture Casbah set the opening night of the whole run. We also have the show in our San Diego event listing.
What changed since the tour was announced
Here’s how the San Diego date looks now compared to the original announcement.
| Detail | As first announced | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Date | Thursday, Oct. 29 | Friday, Oct. 30 |
| Openers | Uniform, Pure Hex | Purest Form, Pure Hex |
| Venue | The Casbah | The Casbah |
The opening lineup changed too, but no source ties that to the date move. On Oct. 26, ThePRP reported that Uniform had dropped off the tour “due to unforeseen personal circumstances,” with new openers at select stops. Purest Form was added for San Diego and Pioneertown, and Pure Hex, described by Pitchfork as a Bay Area alternative band, stays on the whole run.
Agriculture and The Spiritual Sound
Agriculture describe their own music as “ecstatic black metal.” The band is Dan Meyer, Leah Levinson, Richard Chowenhill and Kern Haug. Their second full-length, The Spiritual Sound, came out Oct. 3, 2025, on The Flenser, with Chowenhill producing. It followed their 2023 self-titled album and the 2024 EP Living Is Easy.
The night after San Diego, the tour plays Pappy and Harriet’s in Pioneertown on Saturday, Oct. 31. That show is all ages, with doors at 8:30 p.m. and tickets listed at $25 to $30. From there the band heads to Phoenix’s Rebel Lounge on Nov. 1, works through the Midwest and Mountain West, and comes back down the coast to finish at the El Rey in Los Angeles on Nov. 24.
Busy Friday? Castle are also in town on Oct. 30. Our Castle Tower Bar preview has those details.
